The latest innovation from us here at Abode is Pronteau 4 IN 1, a range of taps catering for every water need in the kitchen. There are five new designs of mixertaps within the range offering all the benefits of standard kitchen mixers but with the addition of pH balanced, limescale free filtered cold and 80-90° filtered steaming hot water, on demand, 24/7.
The new range incorporates the technologically advanced British manufactured PROBOIL3 boiler unit which is an intelligent and compact, self diagnostic boiler with a 3kW element for fast recovery times to deliver over 50 cups an hour. The tank, which sits comfortably under the sink, is manufactured from stainless steel to avoid tainted water tastes from copper or plastics.
The boiler temperature can be set at between 80-98°, so the user never gets a cold cup of tea or coffee - guaranteed! According to the UK Tea & Infusions Association, a normal black tea should be made with water boiled to 90.6° and other speciality teas between 90.6° up to 97.8° so as not to burn tea leaves. Similarly, the Black Bear Micro Roastery recommend that the optimum brewing temperature of water for coffee should be 96 degrees, never at 100° as this will scald the coffee.
At 98° Pronteau delivers water in a structered and controlled way, eliminating spitting and spurting.
All of the five new mixertaps come complete with a patented child safe HotKey function to prevent accidental harm. Hot water will not be dispensed unless the HotKey is placed in proximity to the front of the tap. The 360° spout always remains cool and safe to the touch as the hot water runs through a central insulated channel inside of the spout.
We are offering a nationwide network and commissioning service to consumer and retailers alike for installation and future servicing requirements. For those who want to do it themselves Abode have commissioned a range of videos offering simple tips and advice such as changing a filter, descaling the system, right up to a full engineer and diagnostics.
